Walmart To Get Greener Under New CEO

« 1 of 1 »
With Walmart's new CEO set to take over next week, the chain plans to emphasize renewable energy and other efficiency efforts, both in their own stores and among the suppliers with which it works.

Reuters reported Tuesday that Mike Duke, who will replace the retiring Lee Scott as CEO on Feb. 1, spoke this week at a sustainability conference in New York, telling an Internet audience that sustainability efforts are "all about the future." Duke was previously heavily involved with the chain's renewable energy efforts.
